Another agency of the federal government in the U.S. has partnered with the General Services Administration and its Technology Transformation Services office seeking to identify opportunities to automate business processes across the federal bureaucracy. Under the partnership, the Department of Labor will leverage the GSA’s Center of Excellence to modernize its acquisition process using RPA.
The DoL is the sixth agency to partner with GSA to modernize its operations using RPA. Labor follows the Departments of Agriculture, Housing and Urban Development, the Office of Personnel Management, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the Department of Defense’s Joint Artificial Intelligence Center.
“The Department of Labor is always looking for ways to integrate new technologies into our operations,” U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor Patrick Pizzella said. “By partnering with GSA, our Department will modernize our procurement process to better serve the taxpayers.”
