Digital workflow software provider ServiceNow has agreed to acquire Indian RPA application developer Intellibot. Santa Clara, Calif.-based ServiceNow said the acquisition will enable the company to integrate Intellibot’s RPA capabilities into its Now Platform.

The latest version of the Now Platform features expanded native AI capabilities and new low-code app development tools. It will now include RPA, process mining, process automation, NLX, chatbot, and virtual agent capabilities.

“We are proud to join forces with ServiceNow as it continues to invest in powerful end-to-end automation capabilities to make the world of work, work better for people,” said Srikanth Vemulapalli, CTO and co-founder of Intellibot. “Our RPA combined with ServiceNow workflows will help businesses better connect disparate systems to accelerate innovation and thrive in a new world of work.”

The agreement will also enable ServiceNow to expand more fully into the Indian market, according to the release. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
