Amazon Web Services customers now have cloud access to Blue Prism automation software through the AWS Marketplace, according to a recent announcement. AWS users can access Blue Prism digital workers that come with several embedded Amazon features including a natural language processing service (Amazon Comprehend), video analytics (Amazon Rekognition), and data extraction (Amazon Textract). Blue Prism will also make other automation resources and training materials available to AWS users.
According to Linda Dotts, chief partner strategy officer at Blue Prism, accessing Blue Prism through Amazon’s cloud service enables companies to keep automation simple and relatively inexpensive.
“This AWS Marketplace offering makes it easy for customers to add digital workers with embedded AWS machine learning skills to their intelligent automation arsenal, quickly deploy on AWS,” Dotts said, “and leverage consolidated billing through their AWS enterprise agreements.”
