RPA technology provider Automation Anywhere has begun notifying customers that it will be discontinuing its Enterprise 11 platform and will begin migrating them to the A2019 platform, which it launched last October.

According to a customer notification obtained by RPA Today, as of March 1, 2021, Automation Anywhere will no longer sell Enterprise 11 nor will it offer any new enhancements to the product. A timeline included with the notification indicates that on Sept. 1, 2021 the company will no longer maintain the platform by providing code changes that fix bugs. Automation Anywhere has targeted Sept. 1, 2022 as the date when it will fully retire the Enterprise 11 platform.

“Beginning March 1, 2021, we will transition to [the End of Sale period], which means that no new product or feature enhancements will be made to Enterprise 11 as of this date,” according to the announcement. “New licenses and add-on products will still be available to you for purchase as well as technical support and bug fixes. You will be able to continue to use Enterprise 11 as you currently do until the End of Maintenance period begins.”
